First 2021 baby at Indianapolis hospital has a holiday name

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - The first baby born in the new year at an Indianapolis hospital has the right name for the holidays.

Annie Noelle Claus, the daughter of Stacie and Joey Claus of Greenfield, was born Friday at Community Hospital North, seven minutes into 2021.

The middle name Noelle was Joey's suggestion, and it was the only full name the two agreed on, the Indianapolis Star reported.

'œYou thought the Claus family was busy last week,'ť Joey recalled joking to friends as they awaited Annie's birth, a reference to the North Pole Santa.
