Grains higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher in Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Mar. gained 16 cents at $6.3450 a bushel; Mar. corn rose 5 cents at $4.6750 a bushel; Mar. oats was up 5 cents at $3.4450 a bushel; while Mar. soybeans advanced 2.6 cents at $1.29425 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork higher on the on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec. live cattle fell 1.17 cents at $1.12 a pound; Jan.feeder cattle was off 2.42 cents at $1.3850 a pound; Feb. lean hogs gained .95 cents at .6793 cents a pound.
