Free Christmas tree pickup starts Monday in Aurora

Aurora is offering free Christmas tree recycling beginning Monday and continuing through Jan. 15.

Trees should be placed at the curb by 6 a.m. of residents' normal garbage pickup day. Residents should remove all plastic bags, decorations and tree stands.

Wreaths and garlands cannot be recycled due to the wire used to form them, and must be discarded in the trash.
