Naperville mayor launching weekly Facebook Live discussion

Naperville Mayor Steve Chirico is launching a weekly Facebook Live discussion to engage with residents and share information on a variety of city issues.

Starting Jan. 6, "Naperville Unscripted" will take place at noon every Wednesday on the city's account, according to a news release.

Chirico may welcome guests to share their input on certain topics, ranging from city services to the local COVID-19 pandemic response. Viewers also will be able to ask questions and participate in the virtual town hall.

"I'm looking forward to a fresh new way to engage with our community on an active platform and look forward to weekly conversations," Chirico said.

The discussion will be streamed live on the City of Naperville, Illinois, Government Facebook page at www.facebook.com/NapervilleIL.
