Schaumburg Library offers online 'Tech Bytes' classes

Middle school students will learn to solve problems with the coding language Python during the Schaumburg Township District Library's "Tech Bytes" programs taught by advanced high school students.

Those interested can register to receive the Zoom link by visiting SchaumburgLibrary.org. Classes will be recorded live and posted on YouTube. For both of the following programs, the class code for Google Classroom is qaf7ibj. Join to view current and previous projects and lessons.

"Tech Bytes: Algorithmic Programming " will take place from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Mondays, Jan. 11 through Feb. 1. Participants will learn to code algorithms, one of the key components in computer science.

"Tech Bytes: Project Development" will be held from 4:50 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays from Jan. 13 through Feb. 3. This is a continuation of the "Tech Bytes: JavaScript" and "Tech Bytes: Web Development" classes.
