To all who gave and cared

I can only remember asking for money two times in my life. Once was when we first got married and found we had to pay the rent. The second time was when a very dear friend of ours loaned us the money to bury our oldest daughter.

Now, a house that we lived in for 40 years was gutted by fire. This is the house our children grew up in. We lost just about everything; for sure, we lost all the pictures and the different things our children and family gave us throughout the years. When I walk in the house, I can't see the memories anymore. The pictures and letters our daughter who passed were destroyed.

No place to turn to, we find we have friends we never met and friends we have loved most of our lives. We have friends that we kind of grew up with when we were in music, great friends. We have family we don't see too often but we kind of always knew what each other was doing. Our family, old friends and new friends all came together to help us out by donating money to help us.

I am starting to see hope for Carol and me and how blessed we really are.

Thank you for your donations, kindness, your love, your prayers. I love my daughters and my wife of 61 years and you have helped keep us together with your support.

Thank you and may God bless you and your families.
