Lake Zurich police looking for man who robbed 7-Eleven
Lake Zurich police are investigating the armed robbery of a 7-Eleven Friday night.
A man wearing a black ski mask and a black trench coat entered the store at 600 E. Route 22 at 9:49 p.m., according to a news release issued Monday.
The man brandished a knife, threatened the two employees and took cash and cigarettes before leaving in a white, four-door vehicle. Neither employee was injured.
Officers located and attempted to stop the vehicle, which fled. Police pursued the vehicle until they lost sight of it on southbound Quentin Road near Route 12.
