4 killed in fiery crash in Cicero

CHICAGO (AP) - Four people were killed early Saturday in the Chicago area community of Cicero when the vehicle they were riding in slammed into a building and burst into flames, authorities said.

According to Cicero spokesman Ray Hanania, the four were traveling east on Roosevelt Road in an SUV at about 3 a.m. when it veered into a building near Central Avenue.

The vehicle was already engulfed in flames when police arrived. All four of the occupants of the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. As of Saturday afternoon, the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office had not released any information about the victims.
