Free COVID testing Monday at College of Lake County

A free mobile COVID-19 testing unit managed by the Illinois Department of Public Health will be available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at the College of Lake County, 19351, W. Washington St., Grayslake.

Testing is free and open to all regardless of symptoms. A phone number and name are required in order to receive testing results. Photo identification and proof of insurance are helpful, but not required.

High demand for testing may result in long wait times. The state of Illinois also operates free testing sites, open seven days a week from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., at 102 W. Water St., Waukegan and 2000 W. Euclid Ave., Arlington Heights.
