Rep. Morrison to host Holiday Baby Closet Drive

State Rep. Tom Morrison (R-Palatine) will be hosting a holiday baby supply drive to collect most-needed items for Hopeful Beginnings in Palatine.

Hopeful Beginnings works to support women in need throughout their pregnancies by providing counseling and education services, as well as needed baby items. Donations collected through Rep. Morrison's drive will be given to its "Baby Closet," which compiles most needed newborn items.

The organization's Baby Closet is in need of the following items: Diapers, size 5 and 6; pull-ups; baby wipes; baby shampoo and lotion; and baby safety products for homes such as outlet covers, cabinet locks, drawer locks, etc.

Donations can be dropped off at Morrison's District Office in Palatine, 117 E. Palatine Road, Suite 106, on the following dates:

• Wednesday, Dec. 16, from 1-6 p.m.

• Thursday, Dec. 17, from 9 a.m. to noon

• Saturday, Dec. 19, from 9-11 a.m.
