DuPage Children's Museum selling special New Year's Eve activity boxes

In lieu of its annual New Year's Eve celebration, the DuPage Children's Museum is selling family-friendly activity kits to safely spread the holiday spirit.

The "Bubble Bash in a Box" is filled with festive activities and exclusive access to digital content, including "how-to" craft videos, family yoga, musical performances and a virtual countdown, according to the Naperville-based organization.

An early bird price of $25 per box for museum members and $30 for nonmembers is available through Monday. Beginning Tuesday, the price increases to $35 for members and $40 for nonmembers. Each box includes enough supplies for one child.

For an additional $15, families can donate a box directly to a child in an underserved community through social service agencies World Relief, Jumpstart 131 or DuPagePads.
