Morrison hosts holiday baby supply drive in Palatine

State Rep. Tom Morrison is hosting holiday baby supply drive to collect needed items for Hopeful Beginnings in Palatine.

The organization works to support women in need throughout their pregnancies by providing counseling and education services as well as needed baby items. Donations will be given to their Baby Closet, which offers needed newborn items.

Items most in need include diapers (sizes 5 and 6), pullups, baby wipes, baby shampoo and lotion, and baby safety products for homes (outlet covers, cabinet locks, drawer locks, etc.).

Donations can be dropped off at Morrison's district office, 117 E. Palatine Road, Suite 106, in Palatine, on the following dates: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 16; 9 a.m. to noon. Thursday, Dec. 17; and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 19. Anyone with questions can contact Morrison's office at (847) 202-6584.

Morrison, a Republican from Palatine, represents the 54th House District, which includes all or portions of Arlington Heights, Barrington, Hoffman Estates, Inverness, Palatine, Rolling Meadows and South Barrington.
