Man found dead in Aurora after extensive search effort

A 47-year-old man who was the subject of an extensive air and ground search in Aurora on Thursday after suffering what police described as a medical episode that required immediate hospitalization was found dead about noon Friday in the Oakhurst Forest Preserve, police said.

The man had last been seen about noon Wednesday on the 2400 block of Forestview Drive on the city's far east side. Numerous law enforcement agencies and 150 community volunteers aided in the search.
