Elgin City Council ballot order determined

Early filers Anthony Ortiz, Steve Thoren, Richard Johnson and Dustin Good will appear in that order atop the ballot, followed by Karin Jones, Jerri McCue, Jodi Perkins, Marcus Banner and Rafael Garcia Jr. Incumbents Corey Dixon and Carol Rauschenberger filed at the final hour and will be listed 10th and 11th, respectively.

Not enough candidates filed petitions for Elgin City Council seats to trigger a February primary.
