Grains higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher on Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Dec. was up .04 cent at $5.7340 a bushel; Dec. corn rose .066 cent at $4.20 a bushel; Mar. oats gained .084 cent at $2.9860 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans advanced .126 cents at 11.50 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec. live cattle was off .0017 cent at $1.0995 a pound; Nov. feeder cattle lost .0082 cent $1.41 a pound; Dec. lean hogs fell .0017 cent at .6595 a pound.
