Aurora church to host food, toy giveaway Dec. 19

Divine Providence Ministries Missionary Baptist Church, 402 Sherman Ave. in Aurora, will give away food baskets and Christmas toys at noon on Saturday, Dec. 19.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

Pastor Joe Ballard said in a Facebook post Dec. 1, "We know that times are hard for each and everyone. You do not have to sign up. All you have to do is show up to receive gifts and food. Everyone is welcome.

"We are doing this for the community to help out families. No ID is needed," Pastor Ballard said.
