Bartlett library remains open, deemed essential
With the latest Tier 3 Resurgence Mitigations in the Restore Illinois Plan going into effect on Nov. 20, the Bartlett Public Library District will remain open for patrons to browse collections with their Grab & Go and digital services.
This is done in part due to the board deeming the Bartlett Public Library District an essential entity at the Nov. 16 board meeting.
The following precautions will remain in place:
• Patrons are required to wear face masks and social distance (6 ft.) in the building at all times.
• Building capacity remains at 25%
• Visits should be 15 minutes or shorter; no extended stays.
• Study/Conference Rooms remain unavailable.
• Casual computers remain unavailable, but there are three 15-minute computers available for quick tasks only. The Library does offer WiFi printing, which allows patrons to send their print jobs to the library building from home. They can then come pickup said print job in a quick manner. The temporary hours will remain in place from Oct. 26, 2020 - Jan. 18, 2021: Monday to Thursday: noon to 8 p.m., Friday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday: noon to 5 p.m.
Patrons are asked to stay home if they or a housemate is currently ill or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.
