Long Grove Turkey Trot to be virtual because of spike in COVID-19 cases

The Long Grove Turkey Trot 5K will be virtual this year because of the spike in COVID-19 cases and recommendations not to gather on Thanksgiving, organizers said.

Anyone still interested can run virtually and have event gear mailed to them by registering at https://allcommunityevents.com/longgroveturkeytrot-register. Participants can run or walk the distance between Nov. 26 and Nov 29. Results from tracking apps or other methods can be submitted and a finisher certificate printed.
