Changing Sox

It is with great sadness that after 61 years as a loyal White Sox fan, as an 8-year-old boy mesmerized by the Go-Go White Sox of 1959, that through many lows and some great highs, I can no longer support this team because of the decision to hire Tony LaRussa, the current revelation of him being charged with his second DUI and reports of him acting belligerent toward the officers who ticketed him and the management knew this when hiring him.

White Sox owner has Jerry Reinsdorf has every right to hire whomever he wants, just as I have the choice to no longer spend my money on that decision and becoming a Cubs fan is not an option, I will turn in my White Sox for Red Sox of Boston, who were always my second favorite team. I hope the White Sox do well in spite of this hiring.
