Who we really must appeal to for unity

Regarding your Opinion section, entitled President-elect Biden, of Sunday, Nov. 8th. To comment point by point:

• "In electing Biden and Harris the country elected hope" ... hope for whom? the unborn?

• "to many of us who were exhausted from being battered each morning by another angry tweet" ... might the President have been privy to a chorus of covered up corruption?

• "many of us feared the politics of division was threatening the health of the republic" ... and the anticipated socialism and Marxist policies won't threaten it?

• "many of us were weary of policy being directed by fantasy and impulse rather than by facts and science" ... whose facts and whose science? ... the first case of the coronavirus showed up in Wuhan, China, in the fall of 2019 and was not shared with America until early 2020 when the Chinese Communist Party could no longer cover it up. President Trump immediately banned travel from China.

• "Donald Trump's false claims of a mythical widespread voter fraud represent the worst of his presidency ... He thinks we're all gullible enough to believe anything he says ..." ... Oh, really, such a statement especially hurts the most because it blatantly denies the Democratic Party's sneakiness in its impeachment of President Trump and the recent scandals of Democratic politicians, including the Biden family.

And you say "Hear those voices, President Biden. Hear us all. Bring us together." All of us should rather be saying, "Hear us o Lord, hear those voices, O Lord God Almighty, Ruler of Heaven and earth, hear us all. Bring us together."
