Moving the goalposts
COVID is serious business, no doubt about it, however our governor just moved the goal posts. He established an 8% positivity rate of confirmed cases for mitigation measures.
Beginning last Friday, announced cases now include "suspected" cases, and 7,600 suspected cases were lumped in with one day's totals. Now our daily announced totals are higher, but the 8% remains in place and numerous regions are being put under additional lockdown measures. How many of the daily totals are suspected cases? What would our positivity rate be if they weren't included? How about a little transparency here?
