Wynnchurch Capital buys foam packaging company
ROSEMONT - Wynnchurch Capital L.P. Wednesday said it has acquired Drew Foam Companies Inc., an Arkansas company that is leading manufacturer of expanded polystyrene products for packaging and other industries.
terms of the deal were not announced.
Wynnchurch Capital is headquartered in Rosemont and is a leading middle-market private equity investment firm. Drew Foam was founded in 1965 and is based in Monticello, Arkansas, with manufacturing facilities in Tennessee, South Carolina and Georgia.
Drew also makes geofoam for construction applications and insulated shipping containers for cold environments used in the food and health care markets.
