Suspect in custody after domestic shooting near Naperville

A suspect in a Friday afternoon domestic shooting in unincorporated DuPage County near Naperville is in custody, officials said Saturday night.

The shooting occurred at 2:15 p.m. on the 25W000 block of Keswick Lane, according to Justin Kmitch, spokesman for the DuPage County sheriff's office. Kmitch said there's no threat to the community, but he didn't provide further detail on the shooting Saturday night.

Charges were approved against the suspect and they're set to appear in bond court at the DuPage County jail Sunday morning at 8 a.m.
