Server issues interrupt vote counting in McHenry County

After a problem with a server that runs the election management application, the McHenry County clerk's office temporarily ceased ballot processing about 11:30 a.m. Thursday, officials said.

The vote count will resume 8:30 a.m. Friday, Clerk Joe Tirio said.

"We got the server back up. It is working now," he said Thursday afternoon. "The vendor made sure it is functioning properly."
