Reward offered for information about Naperville stabbing suspects
Naperville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in an Oct. 10 stabbing.
The victim told police he was outside an apartment complex just before 8 p.m. in the 1300 block of Modaff Road when he got into a confrontation with two men and was stabbed, officials said. The men then left the area.
The suspect responsible for the stabbing is described as a Black man between the ages of 28 and 30, standing 6 feet, 3 inches to 6 feet, 5 inches tall, according to Crime Stoppers. He had a goatee, a slim build and was wearing a black zippered hoodie and black jeans.
He was accompanied by another Black man, about 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 7 inches tall and in his early 20s, officials said. He had 2- to 3-inch-long braids and was wearing a maroon long-sleeve shirt and black pants.
The victim, described as a man in his 40s, was taken to the hospital and treated for injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
