Improvements under way at Hoffman Estates' Village Green

A grading and utility project is underway at the Virginia Mary Hayter Village Green in Hoffman Estates.

The Village Green Phase I Improvement Project includes the creation of an entry plaza, a central plaza and an enhanced viewing hill for productions at the amphitheater. The east side of the park will be made level for future use, and lighting will be updated throughout the Phase I area.

The work is taking place south of the Hideaway Brew Garden and the amphitheater.

Located near Higgins and Prairie Stone roads, the Village Green plays host to the Summer Sounds on the Green concert series and several other village events.
