Confusing endorsements

I wonder. How can the paper reject the so called "Fair" Tax while supporting machine candidates who are all in for it? Seems a puzzle for a reader to understand. Robyn Gabel is such a puzzle. You endorse her. She is a slated, funded Madigan Machinist. She is a 10-year loyalist incumbent. She is all in for Madigan and his "Fair" tax orchestra. How can you endorse and not reject her on this so called "Fair" tax basis alone? I wonder what good she does other than what is good for her supreme overlord, Emperor Madigan?
