One person injured in Downers Grove shooting

A 27-year-old man was injured in a shooting Tuesday night in Downers Grove, authorities said.

Police officials said they were called to a home on the 6600 block of Main Street around 9 p.m. for a report of a person who was shot.

The victim was treated at a hospital and released Tuesday night, according to police.

Police said there's no ongoing threat to the public.

No one has been arrested. Police say they are still interviewing people who were at the home, and hope to present information to the DuPage County state's attorney by the end of the week to determine what, if any charges could be filed.
