As you consider which judges to vote for consider using www.injusticewatch.org. This organization has an easy to use guide that gives a bio of each judge and lists any post controversy, negative ratings, notable reversals and recommendations by the Chicago Bar Association, Chicago Council of Lawyers and the Illinois Bar Association. A printable PDF can be created of your choices to take to the polls with you. Injustice Watch states "Judges have the power to make decisions about guilt and innocence, to take away someone's freedom, to interpret or overturn state laws, and to correct or perpetuate injustices." Consider thoughtfully your votes for judges.
