What plot could mean

Regarding the plot to kidnap the governor of Michigan: Is this what Donald Trump is referring to when he talks about his "Second Amendment people?" Is this why he has refused time and time again to unequivocally condemn extremist right-wing groups like the Wolverine Watchmen, of which the accused plotters are members? Is this what Trump meant when he infamously said in the first presidential debate. "Stand back and stand by?" Is this what he was calling for when he tweeted in April "LIBERATE MICHIGAN"? Is it a coincidence that the timeline of the plot to kidnap the governor begins shortly after that tweet?

The DHS says that groups like this are the greatest terror threat to our country. This shocking event, coupled with the president's nonchalance about violent groups, his stated refusal to accept the will of the people if he loses at the polls and his demonstrated disregard for the Constitution, give reasonable cause for law-abiding citizens to worry. Nothing less than the survival of our democracy is at stake in the upcoming election. The American people must speak up loud and clear with their vote.
