Mundelein High group to host charitable run

Mundelein High School's Black Student Union will host a 5-kilometer run and walk on Oct. 18 to raise money for Strides for Peace, a nonprofit that aims to decrease gun violence in Chicago. The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon, and start at Mundelein High, 1350 W. Hawley St. To register, go to docs.google.com. Donations will be accepted through Oct. 31 at stridesforpeace.enmotive.com.
