Curtain Up Classroom presents sneak preview of 'The Wiz-Dom of Oz' Oct. 15-17 at Glen Ellyn History Center

Curtain Up Classroom will present a live sneak preview Oct. 15-17 at Glen Ellyn History Center.

It is a sneak preview of an original play, "The Wiz-Dom of Oz," written and directed by Dr. Maria Bakalis.

The Curtain-Up Classroom Players believe in the show business traditions that "The show must go on."

After months of Zooming and screen time, Curtain Up is about to revive the excitement of live theater.

Audiences of all ages will delight in seeing fairy tale characters as they have never seen them before.

This special performance of "The Wiz-Dom of Oz" entitled "Previews of Coming Attractions" is made up of a medley of scenes that promises to delight. Look for a performance of the complete play in June 2021.

"Previews of Coming Attractions" will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Oct. 15-16, and 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the history center, 800 N. Main St. in Glen Ellyn.

Tickets must be reserved online at www.curtainupclassroom.org.

Tickets are $10 or $8 for seniors and children, age 12 and under.

Curtain Up has partnered with the Glen Ellyn Historical Society to make this event possible and will be following the Centers for Disease Control guidelines for events.
