Enjoy a 'Sipping Saturday' at Barrington Wine Walk

The Barrington Wine Walk, sponsored by The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Barrington, will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct 10, in downtown Barrington.

Attendees are invited to enjoy a "Sipping Saturday" while visiting unique stores in the downtown area and sampling wine provided by participating merchants.

Check-in begins at 2 p.m. at Neoteca, Inc., 130 S. Hough St., in Barrington. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased in advance online at www.barringtonchamber.com.

Ticket price includes: access to a sample pour at each merchant location, souvenir wineglass, a map of the wine-tasting locations, and a list to check off each tasting sample. Attendees must be 21 years or over and present valid identification in order to participate.

The event will be held with COVID precautions in place, rain or shine. Attendees will have their temperatures checked at registration and are asked to wear masks, as needed. All sampling happens inside merchant locations.

Guests will be asked to check the store capacity before entering and socially distance while waiting for their wine samples. By process of attending this event, participants are confirming they are free of COVID-19 symptoms.
