Petition packets available for Arlington Heights park board

Nominating petition sheets for those interested in running for the Arlington Heights Park District board are available at the park district administration center.

Three seats will be up for election next April. To be a candidate, interested persons must file petitions signed by 118 qualified voters who are park district residents.

Candidates could start circulating petitions last week, and must turn them in between Dec. 14 and Dec. 21, along with a statement of candidacy, receipt of an economic interest statement and optional loyalty oath.
