Underwood, Oberweis to appear in online forum Sept. 26

The candidates for Illinois' 14th Congressional District seat will meet in an online forum Sept. 26.

The event, featuring Democratic incumbent Lauren Underwood of Naperville and Republican challenger Jim Oberweis of Sugar Grove, is set for 4 p.m. over the Zoom online meeting platform. It's being hosted by local chapters of the League of Women Voters.

The 14th District includes parts of DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, Will, DeKalb and Kendall counties.
