Grains higher, livestock lower

Wheat for Dec. was up 3.75 cents at 5.42 a bushel; Dec. corn gained 5.75 cents at 3.7175 a bushel, Dec. oats rose 3.75 cents at $2.73 a bushel; while Nov. soybeans advanced 19.75 cents at $10.1125 a bushel.
Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Oct. live cattle was off .38 cent at $1.0672 a pound; Sept. feeder cattle lost 1.17 cents at $1.4050 a pound; while Oct. lean hogs fell .48 cents at $.6522 a pound.
