A-May-Zing Mundelein community event canceled

Mundelein officials have canceled the already rescheduled A-May-Zing Mundelein Day of Caring scheduled for Sept. 18. Typically held in May, the village-sponsored event sends volunteers into the community to help neighbors with yard work and home maintenance. It was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic and is being canceled because of that continuing crisis, officials said.
