What the Democrats have become is horrible

We hear and read from the media about the widespread hatred of Donald Trump almost daily. What is the basis of that hatred? Is it because of his brashness, or bragging, or tweeting? I admit, Donald Trump has some personality flaws but don't forget, he is not a career, phony, silver-tongued politician that we are used to. He has done more positive things for our country than the last three presidents combined, all in three and a half years. I don't have to outline the accomplishments as Mr. Tom Horstman has already done that in his letter in the Aug. 31 edition. Look it up yourself. I ask you, if you needed difficult life-saving surgery and you had your choice of a lousy surgeon with good bedside manner or a top notch surgeon with bad bedside manner, which would you choose?

We have a choice: a person who has done remarkable things for our country and its people and a 47-year career politician with corrupt dealings with China and Ukraine who has done nothing. Don't forget, he and Obama's Affordable Care Act (if you could consider that a positive) would never have passed without phony, power-hungry Nancy Pelosi.

Don't let your dislike of Trump's personality outweigh all that he has done for our nation.

I have always considered myself an independent and have voted for both Democrats and Republicans but I hate the Democratic Party now for what they have done and tried to do to a sitting president and for what they have become. A Biden presidency would be disastrous for our country.
