Gurnee Fire to host first blood drive in months

After a long hiatus, the Gurnee Fire Department will be host a blood drive outside of Station 2 on Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Because of the global pandemic, extra safety precautions will be taken including a requirement that all donors wear masks and make an appointment before arriving. All blood donations will be tested for COVID-19 antibodies. People who donate will be entered into a raffle for a $50 gift card to Kaiser's Pizza & Pub Gurnee.
