Gurnee man who died in motorcycle crash identified

Lake County authorities Friday released the identity of the 63-year-old Gurnee man who died after a motorcycle crash last month in Old Mill Creek.
Sheriff's Sgt. Chris Covelli identified the man as Michael P. Presti on Friday.
The crash happened shortly after 8:05 p.m. Aug. 22. Authorities found Presti and his 2014 Harley-Davidson motorcycle near the site of the crash along Hunt Club Road, south of Millburn Road.
According to a preliminary investigation, Presti was riding south on Hunt Club Road when the motorcycle left the roadway and he was ejected.
Officials said Presti sustained significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
