Subject: Light

Leonard Cohen in his song "Anthem" sings, "There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in."

America is sick, not only from COVID-19, but from the cloud of darkness floating around the world which blocks out the light. Hatred, self-righteousness, economic inequality, segregation and systemic racism are but a few of the many descriptors for this cloud. There isn't much those of us who are little people can do about other countries. Sadly, many of them have forgotten the lessons of World War II.

But, here in the good old USA, as Cohen says, there's a crack in everything and some light is getting through in this country. In less than three months, we all have an opportunity to widen this crack and let the light flood our hearts and minds.

Let's make America decent and let the light shine-in again by voting for Biden/Harris.
