State police investigating I-290 shooting in DuPage County

Illinois State Police are asking the public for more information about a shooting that happened at 2:15 a.m. Monday on I-290 in DuPage County.

It happened west of I-390, according to a news release.

Police were called to a business parking lot, where a 34-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman said shots were fired at their vehicle by occupants of another vehicle. The man and woman, who were not injured, told police they were headed west at the time of the shooting.
