Family conversations on politics

Grandpa, why does Grandma walk around the house saying, "Lock him up. Lock him up"?

Well, grandson, your Grandma and I really blew it when we voted for him. Back then he said his opponent was a crook, but now we see that his history is full of deceit and corruption. He's repeatedly betrayed the American people with his words and actions. Now go put your bike away.

Daddy, he's claiming that his current opponent is against God. Is that true? Why did he say that?

Now son, I can't imagine. It seems the thought popped into his head and fell out of his mouth. I'm reminded of a runaway train without an engineer. No one's at the controls. Now go mow the lawn.
