Move Studio Pilates & Fitness Hosts Grand Opening Celebration
New Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce (PACC) member Move Studio Pilates & Fitness celebrated the grand opening of their Palatine location with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, August 13, 2020. The event was attended by Palatine Mayor Jim Schwantz, PACC board members and ambassadors, local business owners and clients. The full service, boutique-style fitness studio offers Pilates Reformer classes, small group and team conditioning, along with private training at the Palatine location, as well as its flagship studio in Lincolnshire.
Move Studio class instructors take the time necessary to assess the individual needs, challenges, and objectives of each of their clients. Whether it be an injury, rehabilitation, stress relief, pain management or athletic performance, Move Studio can help! The studio specializes in training clients to achieve greater strength, endurance and power through their proven fitness techniques.
“Instead of utilizing a ‘one size fits all' approach to fitness, we carefully assess each of our clients individually to ensure we meet their personal goals,” said Owner Emily Schneider. “Pilates can be instrumental in creating longer, leaner muscles, core strength and stability, and improved balance and coordination - something most everyone can use after the three-month Stay-at-Home Order.”
Schneider discovered Pilates while she was recovering from an ankle injury she suffered during her time as a professional dancer. After teaching private classes for nearly 10 years, she opened Move Studio to bring her expertise and progressive style to those not familiar with the Pilates approach to fitness and rehabilitation. Emily is highly regarded as one of Illinois' top Pilates instructors.
A complimentary, individual Pilates session is currently being offered for new clients along with a ‘new client discount' for ongoing classes.
