Lunch specials and fun for kids on Thursdays in downtown Batavia

A rush of business activity is always a welcome sight. To encourage this hustle and bustle, a $10 Lunch Rush promotion takes place every Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in downtown Batavia.

Participating restaurants offer a $10 lunch special, which can change from week to week. Retailers and other businesses can also join the promotion, offering their own $10 deal.

Additional attractions such as music, kids' crafts, games and more will take place, offering more incentive to head to downtown Batavia for lunch and shopping.

People are encouraged to take a couple of hours, enjoy a $10 lunch and some shopping in downtown Batavia. The $10 Lunch Rush promotion lasts through October.

Downtown Batavia's North River Street and South Water Street are attractive outdoor dining and activity areas that are open to the public and closed to traffic.
