Poetry reading at Barrington White House on Thursday

Barrington's White House and the Barrington Cultural Commission are presenting a free online poetry reading 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20.

The event, part of an online series Virtual Arts and Culture, will feature 10 poems by local poets, aired from Barrington's White House. Poems were submitted that reflected the theme "House and Home, Place and Dwelling."

Future poetry submissions will be encouraged within the next several months, offering a chance to read your poem at Barrington's White House, where you will be filmed within guidelines for COVID-19 restrictions.
