Hold people accountable

I see and read about all this civil disorder, then hear politicians and social leaders trying to explain away the reason these hooligans do what they're doing. Whatever happened to people taking responsibility for their actions and not blaming the government and society for their situations? There are thousands of people of color and minorities who are doctors, lawyers, CEOs and presidents of companies and the United States. How do they get to those positions? Not by sitting on their hands blaming other people, looking for handouts or looting.

They worked hard for what they have and made something of themselves. The authorities need to hold everyone doing this accountable to the fullest and stop coddling them. Why would businesses open up in these areas, only to be looted and destroyed? This is sickening the way this problem is being handled. God help us all.
