'Explore Palatine' set for Sept. 12

The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce will host its third annual "Explore Palatine" event Saturday, Sept. 12.

The initiative supports the local economy by encouraging area residents to explore, and in some cases discover, businesses all over Palatine.

Explore Palatine is an outgrowth of the chamber's "Think Local" campaign created to generate awareness about businesses and educate area residents about the importance of keeping sales tax dollars in the community.

All Palatine businesses and chamber members are invited to participate in the event at no cost. Sponsorship opportunities are also available by emailing chamber Executive Director Steven Gaus at sgaus@palatinechamber.com.
