Motorcyclist dies after I-94 crash near Lake Forest
A Utah man was pronounced dead at the scene Wednesday afternoon after his Honda motorcycle struck the back of a semitrailer truck on a Lake Forest oasis ramp on Interstate 94.
The motorcyclist, a 78-year-old man from Milford, Utah, was traveling east on I-94 and for unknown reasons veered onto the right shoulder and struck the parked truck operated by 51-year-old Michael Croft of Hartford, Wis., according to the Illinois State Police.
The ramp to the Lake Forest oasis was closed at 1:15 p.m. and remains closed for the crash investigation.
