Seeing both sides

Having watched the Geneva City Council meeting on TV, I realized that one question was not asked, especially of the people who are in favor of an affordable housing project: “How would you feel about the project being in your neighborhood?”

I suspect most people in favor of it do not live near where the project may be built. I think also that the people who live in Sterling Manor assumed there would only be single family housing there. I personally am not against affordable housing, and never considered where it could be, and I found myself agreeing with both sides at the same time.
